Miss World Malaysia 2019 Crowned

Alexis SueAnn, 24, a TV presenter from Kuala Lumpur has been crowned Miss World Malaysia 2019 during a glamorous grand coronation held at the Mega Star Arena on Sunday 6 October 2019.

Crowned by Miss World Malaysia 2018, Larissa Ping Liew, she said: “I know it’s going to be one big roller coaster ride, but I promise I will pour my heart and soul into giving Malaysia the best. I can’t wait to meet everyone in London.”

Alexis started her ‘Beauty With A Purpose’ project #Chance4Change to ‘Spread the hope, Save the judgements’. In collaboration with the Orphancare Foundation, Baby Hatch aims to focus on providing awareness and education on baby dumping, and sexual grooming for youths in colleges as well as sustainable income solution for teen and single mothers.

She counts one of her proudest moments was being part of a team that reached the peak of Mount Kinabalu to raise RM50,000 for the National Cancer Society when she was just 16 years old.

Alexis SueAnn will now enjoy a year of appearances in her new role and will represent Malaysia along with 130 contestants from around the world at the three-week festival and 69th Miss World Final in London.

The highly-anticipated Miss World final show will be broadcast globally to over 150 countries, where global fans can watch reigning Miss World, Vanessa Ponce de León, pass the crown to the 69th Miss World.
