Miss World Philippines 2019 Crowned


Michelle Dee, 23, from Macablacat was crowned Miss World Philippines 2019 on Sunday 15 September at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Manila.


With a degree in Psychology from the De La Salle University in Manila, she said: “I’ve just reached a major milestone in my life, and all I can really say is thank you to everyone who’s believed in me since the beginning. I don’t think I’ll ever be perfect, but I promise to try my best and to continue to do so every day throughout my reign. I will make you all proud.”

Michelle is an advocate for autism awareness and mental health education in general and works with organisations to educate people about autism and assisting those who have the development disability, especially children and youngsters to create more awareness about autism and mental health issues.


Michelle will now enjoy a year of appearances in her new role and will represent the Philippines along with 130 contestants from around the world at the three-week festival and 69th Miss World Final in London.

The highly-anticipated Miss World final show will be broadcast globally to over 150 countries, where global fans can watch reigning Miss World, Vanessa Ponce de León, pass the crown to the 69th Miss World.
