Miss World Guadeloupe 2019 Crowned


Anais Lacalmontie was crowned Miss World Guadeloupe 2019 by her predecessor,  Morgane Theresine, on 11th August at the picturesque Creole Beach Hotel & Spa in Le Gosier.


Anais competed with eleven other contestants for the honour of representing Guadeloupe at Miss World 2019. On her crowning, she declared “I am very happy and proud to wear this sash and be the ambassador of Guadeloupe for Miss World 2019.”

Anais is a 22 year old University of the West Indies graduate. She also works as a model and lives in Abymes. Moreover, she is involved in charity work to help people suffering with sickle cell anaemia.


Anais will now enjoy a year of appearances in her new role and will represent Guadeloupe, along with 130 contestants from around the world, at the three-week festival and 69th Miss World Final.

The highly-anticipated Miss World final show will be broadcast globally to over 150 countries, where global fans can watch reigning Miss World, Vanessa Ponce de León, pass the crown to the 69th Miss World.
