Miss World Netherlands 2019 Crowned


Brenda Felicia Muste took over the Miss World Netherlands reign, from Leonie Hesselink, on Thursday 4th July. The glistening finale was held at the De Koning Party & Events, Amsterdam.


Fourteen candidates were selected for the national final, with their preliminary events and preparations filmed for a documentary to be televised on channel RTL4. The Miss World Netherlands Organisation state,

“The contestants had skills training and worked hard in several challenges, during the past few months. Throughout this time, international professionals have been judging the contestants, with the Miss World Netherlands Organisation, on the Beauty With A Purpose and Head to Head Challenges. The contestants bonded and supported one another and this showed on stage…It was a night to remember that was filled with unity, respect and friendship.”


Brenda is a 22 year old commercial economics student from Arnhem. In addition, she works part time in marketing and as a model. Fitness training is also an important part of her lifestyle.

Brenda will now enjoy a year of appearances in her new role. She will represent the Netherlands, along with 150 contestants from around the world, at the three-week festival and 69th Miss World Final in London.

The highly-anticipated Miss World final show will be broadcast globally to over 150 countries, where global fans can watch reigning Miss World, Vanessa Ponce de León, pass the crown to the 69th Miss World.
