Miss World Hungary 2019 Crowned

Krisztina Nagypál from Budapest was crowned Miss World Hungary 2019 on Sunday 23 June at the national final broadcast live by the Duna Television and the Duna World channel.

The 22-year-old studying Human Resources at the Metropolitan University said: “My dream has come true and I am preparing myself to represent my country on the world’s biggest stage. I want to be ready as any Miss World needs to be beautiful on the inside and out.”

The keen sportswoman and dancer is looking forward to making friendships and gaining new experiences at this year’s Miss World festival and final.

For the competition Tamás Csángó made new crowns decorated with hundreds of crystals by hand.

Kristina will now enjoy a year of appearances in her new role and will represent Hungary along with 130 contestants from around the world at the three-week festival and 69th Miss World Final.

The highly-anticipated Miss World final show will be broadcast globally to over 100 countries, where global fans can watch reigning Miss World, Vanessa Ponce de León, pass the crown to the 69th Miss World.
