Miss United Kingdom is Ambassador for St Andrew’s First Aid

Miss United Kingdom, Linzi McLelland, states she is “honoured to have been made Ambassador for St Andrew's First Aid.” Throughout her Beauty With A Purpose project, as Miss World Scotland, she received praise for fundraising hundreds of pounds for the Scottish Association for Mental Health. Linzi achieved this in memory of her Father. She says, “I will be a role model and ambassador for people who can relate to my story of overcoming a tragedy and using it to make them stronger.”

Linzi is a mental health and suicide awareness ambassador and has completed the accredited Mental Health First Aid course. She is already working hard in her role. Her first project is participating in the 2019 Glasgow Kiltwalk to raise awareness and funds for St Andrew’s First Aid.

“On top of her day job as a cabin crew member for Emirates and her numerous new projects as part of her Miss UK title, Linzi McLelland will use her new platform to share the work of important Scottish charities, including St Andrew’s First Aid….

We are grateful to Miss UK for joining our St Andrew’s First Aid team as our 2019 Charity Ambassador and helping us to raise awareness of our important community first aid projects.”
